Economics degree. Security mindset. Camera ready. Looking for opportunities where I can put it all to work.
I'm Jake — a recent Economics graduate from Ferris State University's College of Business (Honors) with a Minor in Information Security & Intelligence. Dean's List every semester. I like figuring out how markets, people, and technology collide — especially when the stakes are high.
In college I served as Student Government President and interned on innovation strategy at AF Group. Now I'm looking for the next challenge. I also do modeling and am open to new opportunities in that space. If it involves economics, security, tech, or getting in front of a camera — I'm interested.
A combination that's rare — and increasingly in demand as organizations confront economic and security challenges simultaneously.

Network security, digital forensics, fraud — I learn how threats work and how to spot them. Cellebrite certified and comfortable digging into the technical side of things.
Leadership, innovation, and international business experience.
Ran a team of 11 cabinet and chair members and kept the day-to-day moving. Brought five new initiatives to the table that year. Sat across from university leadership regularly to negotiate better services and resources for students.
Built a vendor comparison tool that lets the team stack up 20+ vendors side by side. Redesigned SharePoint pages and mapped out a visual ecosystem of 20+ team connections for 300+ people. Also led an intern event for the nonprofit Care Free Medical — gave presentations and helped them tighten up fundraising.
Helped negotiate IT service deals worth over $100K, upgrading tech infrastructure for 100+ companies. Took on management responsibilities — training, development, and keeping teams on track. I'm the link between clients and operations, handling comms and presentations on both sides.
Led my team through structuring loan solutions for equipment and real estate — collateral, rates, the whole picture. Pitched investment strategies to stakeholders backed by real financial analysis. Kept the workgroups organized and made sure we delivered.
